Promises and a ramble through the roses

Some of my most viewed posts include those with scripture and photographs. The gardens at the State Botanical Gardens of Georgia are in full bloom right now and the roses especially are incredible. I wish I could take a picture of the scent in that area and share it with you. Along with sharing rose photographs, I also include promises from scripture that have meant much to me over the years. This is in no way a conclusive list, but simply a few from a great many—some say there are more than 7,000 promises of various kinds in scripture. Take a moment to ramble with me through the roses as we ponder the wonderful promises of God. 



Never will I leave you: never will I forsake you. Hebrews 13:5


And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
